…..of the Merc trotting out the line that ‘Brendan doesn’t like Iversons footwork’ hence no prem chances.
Well, why don’t we try a bloke (Iverson) who might save a few shots for a change. We got on great with a keeper with dodgy distribution for 10 years previously.
Also, they say we ‘might be able to sell Iverson on to a good champ club in the summer.’
If Iverson is good champ club standard, imo he is far and away more qualified, than Ward who is div 2 at best.

And as said above...how many times did we enjoy watching Kasper chipping the ball into the stand...

I’m more and more convinced that he’s been trying to get the sack since that first match vs Brentford. None of his decisions make any sense. Mendy taken off in games despite being the best player, playing Amartey, falling out with players. None of it makes sense. Any of it
 
What a bloody stupid thing to say. Your #1 is leaking goals like a sieve, and that’s your reason for not giving your #2 a run of games. The same guy who was Player of the Season twice when he was out on loan, and has actually played more competitive games than the guy you’re playing.

All part of the elite mindset folks. He proclaimed last summer that Ward was his number 1 keeper and it wouldn't do to contradict one's self. God forbid look at the evidence on the pitch and change things accordingly. My guess is that Iverson will be allowed to leave and then we will have an even bigger problem.
 
We do need a Keeper who can do a full stop.
Did Rodgers ever actually play football to a decent level? Lots of referees were shit footballers too.
