Well when we played Roma, I flew Ryanair from EMA to Milan for £7.99 each way. If the club are that strapped, I'll give them the money

I stayed the Tuesday night in Milan then caught the train to Rome (300 miles, £80 return first class). Stayed 2 nights in Rome, returned by train to Milan on the Friday morning. Went to the San Siro that evening to see Inter v Empoli (that was fantastic) & stayed the night in Milan. Flight back on the Saturday.
I sorted everything out myself over the internet
A fabulous few days, only ruined by TCR's cowardly shit show in Rome
 
It certainly was Soho. Also as it was springtime & I only needed lightweight clothes, I only took hand luggage so no waiting for bags, also caught the Skylink bus from Coalville to EMA (free with my bus pass).
I am hoping to do something similar in the future, but time marches on & I'm not sure about roaming round Europe on my own at the age of 72 & struggling with arthritis
 
Being effluent in Eyetie, most of the comments point out how fragile heis. One says he must come here by car, not foot, as he cant walk.
 
Apparently the Italian Transfer window shut at 5pm today.
So it's either done or he just flew over for a few duty frees
