Remember the days in 2015 / 2016

When we would take photo’s of the league table with us at the top?

Fair play to Southampton they have certainly progressed since the 0-9.

Looking back, our momentum that season was something else wasn't it?

So many experts & pundits predicted we would eventually run out of steam & be overhauled by one of the so-called bigger clubs - but we weren't.

Just magic...(turns away from camera, looks wistfully into the distance, smiling)

I remember being in a club on the Isle of Wight. We'd just beaten Swansea 3-0 with a Mahrez hat trick and I was speaking to some of the locals following the results.

I remember saying 'we really are a good team'.

They were dismissive. We were just fluking it. The order of the big six would be restored and we'd fall away.

Daggers it was news to me that anyone took photos of the league table in 2015 / 2016. I thought folk gave that up after the P*t*r T*yl*r fiasco shortly after he took over. I do remember Spurs fans taking screenshots of the table for the half hour or so they were top that season. Not that it did them any good, mind you.

I remember printing off about 20 copies of the league table mid December 2015 when we were top.
And placing them out like serviettes at each place setting on the boardroom table upstairs in the Royal Oak ready for the Cockney Roofers Xmas lunch.
Seemed to go down quite well.

Having great fun at the moment with my magnetic version of Football League Ladder. Glad I turned down the bid on Antiques Roadshow now!

I remember it well. It made for a very jolly day.

I can remember talking to Mac's lad at the Addies Bar at the sing-a-long after we'd beat Stoke and saying if we could win 2 of the next 3 games (L'Pool Man C Ars) them hold on to your hat because the impossible was on

I couldn't do it. i live in Wolves and people were saying aroung Christmas how well we were doing, how they wanted us to win it. I kept saying there's time to mess it up yet. It was only when we beat Man City 3-1 that i started to really believe it.
