Offered very little going forward, did very little defending, often gives a two yard pass and then just walks away like his job is done instead of looking for a return. i just don't get what Rodgers sees in him??

When we signed him Perez was the Geordies top scorer.

Its confidence. He looks so desperate to make things work and take his chances that he is overworking and snatches at chances. His form is a poor but i don't discount his effort. He just looks completely frustrated and Barnes sadly much the same. They need a little longer on the ball than you get in this division (that is of course unless Perez was playing against us in the old days).
