Pep, Klopp and Ole

So these three managers all want the rules changing mid season.

I’m confused.

Ole is saying the fixture schedule is all wrong as his side played in Europe on Wednesday and again on Saturday lunchtime. Had this been a week earlier the next CL game would have been on Tuesday so when does he expect this league game to be played? Oh and didn’t they win the game?

Okay Man U played in Turkey and we had a home game but we had a similar rest period between games as did Spurs.

Klopp has backed him and he & Pep are saying they should allow 5 subs again this year yet in yesterday’s game Pep made only one substitution in the 90 minutes and Klopp made two.

Do you hear Rodgers complaining? No you don’t we just get on with it. Oddly for now you don’t hear Mourinho moaning either but maybe that’s because they were lucky to even be in the Europa League.

This season is brutal for the teams playing in Europe. You can almost count on one hand the amount of free midweeks we’ll have before the summer if we go deep into the Europa League competition. But it’s the same for all of us across Europe.

They won't be happy until FFP has gone, we can have 10 subs, they choose when they play and where, they can call a game off if they have injuries ....................................................... in fact, they will never be happy. Buckingetonwithit

To be fair to Klopp I’ve just listened to his post match interview and he did say any other kick off time but the early kick off would be fine. He doesn’t necessarily want games moving from one day to the next, just a later kick off especially for the teams who have travelled back from a European away fixture.

He also acknowledged that because of the crazy nature of this season often an extra day cannot be given because of other games scheduled.

Klopp, when ranting about the need for 5 subs due to lots of muscular injuries/ amount of games etc used Trent going off with his calf injury as evidence.
He’s expecting people to believe that he would have subbed said player a few times previously is he? Which may have prevented the calf injury.
Give me a break.

How many Leicester players are taking part in these internationals over the next week?

I'd say this outburst from them has been inevitable from the moment they realised they weren't six points clear of everyone else at the top of the table – where they feel they they have a god-given right to be, year in, year out. Fuck 'em.

Too right. Let's hope we keep giving them more reasons to gripe.

I see the Premier League are going to listen to the arguments for 5 substitutions again. They have already considered and rejected this twice this season.
