I think to play that style you need to be match comfortable. Coady was a bit jittery, they all are when they’re not playing each game.
 
All the times he has brought on Choudhury and today he brings on Akgun when we're trying to close it out. Perreira on a booking could have pushed up. Very strange for me but heh ho we didnt lose.
 
Yep. If he gets the credit for success he also deserves the criticism for poor decision making that costs us. We can complain about officiating but that’s out of our control.
Choosing to change personnel is in our control and it was done in a way that weakened us in a game that would have virtually sealed promotion if we saw it out. Very frustrating.

I don't think anyone is arguing otherwise. Yes, it was frustrating. However, nobody seals promotion in December fella...
 
They were poor choice of subs in a difficult match.
Casadei not good enough, Natcho no better than Daka,
Akgun to lightweight seems to always pass back.
Enzo had Souter, Hamza and JJ, could easily played Hamza and Ricardo
midfield who i personally think would be better than his selection.
You would have two tacklers further up the pitch.
 
Dont think their enforced substitution helped either. We were restricting them to next to nothing with Hirst lumbering about.
 
Pratt has to play or be got rid of in Jan, good player but is injured to often, I suspect he wants away anyway. Its a shame because I think he is the best we have on his day.

The fact that he’s injured all the time may seriously hinder any efforts to get rid of him.

Daka quicker and more of a threat .
