Nottingham properly let the country down.

But don’t you see that you have just proved me right, you are just googling your opinions, they are not yours but you are saying others are wrong when you don t have one of your own.
It's a definition. It's like saying you have an opinion on what zebra means.
But I'll stand with RVL and Bnet thanks. On your knees? How about fuck off?
Your choice, same as it is for those that choose to do it.

I thought taking the knee was reference to George Floyd? I think it needs to stop now as flaming racism with brainless thugs, I thought we got past this in football in late 70s?

It would be my choice. Personally, I think it's been a big shame. I wish they'd done something else.
I honestly think they've got to the point now of "how do we stop doing this?", but the fact they feel the need to keep doing it shows there's still a lot of racist shit being thrown around. You only have to look at the Hungary fans behaviour recently to know that.

What else could they have done?

Nike are by far the biggest sponsor of the England football team and one of the biggest sponsors across the whole Premier League.

They are also a huge supporter of Black Lives Matter, the political organisation, not the sentiment.

So how is that relevant? Taking the knee has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter.

Well I was at the last Hungarian match. Fantastic atmosphere. Loved every second of it. Great family atmosphere too.

Going back to my first Hungarian England match, I saw Heskey make his debut in Budapest. Crappy, old stadium with a load of mingers giving him the monkey chants. There was no hiding it: thousands did it. Horrible.

Back to the recent England game, which I didn't get a ticket for... Two of my friends did. None of them heard any monkey chants. Seems the majority heard none of it. There was total silence and respect for the national anthem too. What people are forgetting about Sterling was that he didn't just go over and celebrate right in their faces, but he unveiled a t-shirt which no one could read, but assumed it was a big 'fuck you!' message on it. (Perhaps we should get TARs: translation replays if players are going to continue with this so we can avoid similar mistakes.) Personally, I don't care where anyone celebrates, and I like Declan Rice's style.

But just to reiterate: I don't know anyone who says they heard the monkey chanting, and it seems most of the players and manager are in the same position. I don't think the journalists are lying, but obviously if Southgate couldn't hear it, it couldn't have been too many people involved.

Contrast that with the reaction to taking the knee.

So, real racism, not very loud.
A natural reaction to bullshit, division and manipulation: very loud indeed.

How many times do the players have to explain why they make the gesture for it to sink in with the terminally wrong of thinking ?

I know it's exciting for you to get a reply, but try not to climax over the screen.

So you’re basically saying it was Sterling’s fault he was racially abused for having the temerity to celebrate scoring a goal ?

The players have explained over and over again why they make the gesture but the neanderthal few still persist with their pathetic booing . What right have you to tell Jamie Vardy why he’s taking the knee for instance ?

Players “ We are taking the knee to show solidarity against racist idiots who still think it’s acceptable to abuse someone for the colour of their skin )
Regi et al - “No you’re not . You are supporting Marxism and sowing division” .
Yeah right

sounds like an agenda being pushed, just like they played piped clapping when the booing starts, the Seals now do it on their own.

How the hell can that be ! you seem to be anti thinking for your self, all opinions from the MSM and Google. It explains the ridiculous way of thinking of the"woke".

Where do you think the term "woke" come from, on another issue but interested what you can find on Google for an answer ?

l know the real answer actually, and l don't have to ask a machine what it is.
