Could be positioning himself there.
 
Makes sense, if true. Allows time for a bigger range of possible suitors and who has been relegated :(

What an odd statement. In terms of ‘mess created’ , yes Taylor created a
mess, by comparison Rodgers has just made the mother of all messes.

We don't necessarily need a top manager atm, we need someone who can get an immediate reaction. That's why a ' big Sam ' type might just fit the bill until the end of the season.
 
We need somebody to get us 15 points. then get a proper manager in in the summer.
 
My Everton mate is quite the opposite, he say's Rafa would be a fantastic move for us, get him at all costs.

Anyone who could squeeze out 15 points from our lot would be a proper manager IMO. Struggling to see where the next win is and 10 games left. Will struggle to get more than 8 points.

He hasn't 'rejected' us has he? He's not in the market for a new job at the moment.
Question is does the board delay a bid for him or stick with the original decision to go interim?
Or a short term big bonus job like Woy?
 
Heard this morning that he picked up a £13 million cheque from Chelsea for his troubles. No wonder he may not come here on bob a job week wages.
