I thought other than the fuck up, he looked better than he's looked with Brendan for a longtime. Not perfect but i know Wilf will never let us down on purpose. I've got a lot of love for the fella, he filled a gap we didn't think could be filled at the time. Brendan fucked him up, and he's on his way back.
Totally agree with this I thought it was his best game for a long time apart from the obvious, but that's how our luck is at the minute a misplaced pass turns into a wonder goal against us, had he blazed it over nobody would be mentioning it

Wilfs shooting but mainly passing is a disgrace to a professional footballer’s name. He had a fantastic few years where he would break up opposition’s play regularly but that’s even dwindling now, so the fact he is dog awful at actually passing a football shows up even more.

I felt Ndidi was at fault for the Palace goal not getting into Ayew when he should have and last night well.
His problem is confidence gone and not fit enough which there is no excuse for in my opinion.
But yes in the end 10 men against 11 is a major factor.

Ndidi has always specialised in getting about the field, split second timing his tackles and then giving the ball 5 yards to somebody else to use. However he has now lost a yard and arrives too late and thinks he can pass. Its too late this season for him to get much fitter so he should understudy Mendy and if we stay up be moved on.
