I'd agree that you can't develop someone into a clone of him, but surely a well-paid pro could be encouraged to adopt a few of his good traits? Things like
making the most of the opportunity
making maximum effort
working at being less one-footed, so you can at least roll a goal in with your 'wrong foot' even if not blast them from 20 yards
press effectively, rather than just wander around
actually give a shit or, at the very least, look like you do

That was a difference between ability and confidence/self belief.
Look at vardy videos from Fleetwood and he had it then. It just took him a while to believe he could do it at a higher level ( oth at championship and then at premier league).
