Man Citeh

Only won the league cos “the big (cunty) clubs didnt turn up.
Nor did anyone..lets not forget our brilliant year not so long ago....sick at heart by this result but they did earn it. Every match I thought would be brilliant against City epically failed. Not a fan, but hard to argue they did it.

Arsenal have had a very good season & improved massively for sure but it is possible to do this & also bottle it, & they certainly bottled it big time.😂

They may spend a kings ransom on some players but they also get bargains too. Harland at £50m was a joke ( yes it was his buy out but Man City got him). Akanji was £15m. We got Souttar and Faes for the same price. Alvarez £15m too.
What I do find impressive is that they’ve effectively played without proper full backs all season since Cancelo went to Bayern, often playing 3 CB but one as LB. They’ll win the treble IMO.

£50m was an absolute steal. It was clear as day to me he would be the biggest goal scorer in this league while he is here.

I give him 2 more years then he’ll leave for Spain.

It's not all about the transfer fee though... it's what they pay these players. Yes, Harland was a steal at £50m but Man City landing him would've been down to the wages on offer.

Indeed but plenty of other teams at the top could have afforded his wages. Liverpool. Probably Arsenal. Newcastle although he’s probably a couple of years early for a move there.Yanited. What also helps is Man City’s ability to win trophies.
