Lack of effort-Ranieri's view

For all his faults after we won as champions...Ranieri said 'as long as the team put EVERYTHING in to the game, even if we lose...the fans are happy and I am happy'.
We didn't do that today.
 
It wasn't down to a lack of fight that we lost. It was a lack of quality and coming up against a superior opposition.
 
They were toothless just like Boxing Day - in awe of them. Much more fight in the snow under Puel FACT
Couldn't believe the lack of fight.
Can't be denied though, Liverpool are immense as the stats prove
 
Just a point I would like to ask. Has anyone of you.. EVER heard someone criticize a Leicester city team for lack of effort when they have won the game ? ....I haven't.
 
Most of the papers and pundits on tv mentioned it, so it's not just fans exaggerating.If you look at it in terms productively they were well on the way to bankruptcy!
 
He has the same game plan when we play a big team, sit back, soak up the pressure, hopefully don't concede, and hit them on the counter.
He does it every time.
At arsenal it worked, but we did get lucky.
At man city it worked.
At Liverpool it didn't work.

Liverpool were good, very good, no matter how much you dislike them, they turned in a top performance.
The problem with the approach is there's often no way back once we go behind, but against them, i don't think anything would've made a difference.
 
Liverpool were excellent the other night like Teabreak said any team we could of put out would of struggled.
