Just got home.

Blue Roofer
After the very dull Rotherham game tonight’s was a great game of football. Two good teams playing attacking football with intent.

First half we were well on top and largely in control and at times we were our own worst enemy with wayward passes and bad touches. Our goal was really great.

Second half we really started to lose our way and were more and more ragged as the game wore on. An equaliser any earlier and we may have lost the game tonight.

I said before the game we might struggle today and that I would take a point. Well despite it being a late late equaliser I’m still very happy with the point tonight. I know the ref was poor in the second half and I think their goal took a deflection but their play merited a goal.

We need to bring in one or two this January. We’re desperate for a decent front man for starters.

Faes was my man of the match. His defending was solid and he got forward a fair bit too and caused them problems.

Anyway on now to Cardiff in less than 3 days. Let’s hope for better fortune down there.

Good assessment Daggers.

I think 2 or 3 changes at least for Cardiff ?
Hard to determine whether the opponent were good enough to throw us out of our stride, or was it more that we looked jaded as the game wore on because of the heavy schedule ?
Well we can't be the only team suffering if that was the case, so if our squad carries more depth than most in the league then maybe Enzo will need to utilise it.

Was disappointed at 90 mins, as one inevitably is when points are dropped to a late equaliser. But then sweet reason regained its seat - even with the schedule we've got we dropped points away to our nearest rival only thanks to a scandalous refereeing decision not to award an obvious penalty and to a double deflection from a desperate last minute swing of the boot.
Enzo's reaction was the philosophical twinkle that he does, with that cool authority thing he has when answering questions.
We maintain the gap with our closest rivals, and extend it with third placed Soton.
You might call it a good night's work - and that's even after the Christmas pud.
Faes grows in stature game on game.
Onwards to Welsh Wales look you, bach.

At least enzo has had go at mavididi for repeatedly trying to take on half their team, when a simple supposedly-typical pass was needed.
