Jonny Evans

Northern Ireland defender Jonny Evans is expected to be fit for Northern Ireland's Euro 2020 play-off final with Slovakia after missing Leicester City's last two games with a back injury.

Evans is included in manager Ian Baraclough's 26-man squad for the key match at Windsor Park on 12 November.
NI also play Austria and Romania in the Nations League in a triple-header.

Remind me who pays his salary?

All these Europa games plus too many internationals is really not doing our injury list any good.

Didn’t realise Ian Barraclough was manager, I’m guessing it’s the one from Leicester?
Barrowclough didn’t help matters by playing Evans 3 times in 8 days including 120 mins in the 1st match. Had to go off at HT in the 3rd match. He can’t do it anymore. If I was Evans I’d stick with a bad back so he doesn’t have to play. It’s ridiculous

I’m not sure that would work on Barraclough. The last time he was interviewed on Sky Sports he looked down in the dumps.
Darren Fletcher: You're lookin' a bit down in the mouth, Mr Barraclough, anything the matter?
Mr Barraclough: Oh, nothing much. The usual. Domestic crisis.
Darren Fletcher: Oh dear. Mrs Barraclough left you, has she?
Mr Barraclough: Unhappily... no Fletcher.
