January Transfer window ...

Marcus Forss from Brentford, aged 21, 6 feet tall, Finnish Under 21, natural goalscorer, plays on the shoulder of the last man like somebody we know well.

No one is like Vardy. Anyway we already have vardys replacement. We do need another striker though.

Ian Nacho, you can see how much confidence he has when he's the main main. Yes we will have to play slightly differently. But hes a quality quality player

Daz Daz Daz. He's never a proper replacement for Vardy. He has improved under Rodgers and has an eye for goal but I can't imagine opposition defenders seeing his name on the team sheet and thinking "shit, I'm gonna get run ragged today"

Again your thinking he's a vardy type he's not. He's a proven goalscorer at this level. No one plays like Vardy.

One of the big six might come sniffing after him in January (Nacho) if he keeps this form up, then we deffo need another Striker.

Zero chance of one of the Big Six wanting him; someone in the bottom third might. He was touted around the likes of Villa a year ago. He's as much a quality quality player as Gray is, IMHO.
Anyone else reckon his 'cross' the other night was one of his usual pulled-horribly-to-the right shots? ;)

So what you saying is after all time and effort we have put into him being vardys understudy we now ditch that?

I fail to comprehend how you – or anyone, frankly – can consider him anything but merely a distinctly average back-up option at the level of football that we aspire to. Most professional footballers can manage the occasional highlight of a cracking shot like he scored with v Spurs a while back (even Slim got one like that in the cup), or a run of scoring scruffy goals off their arse or face, but that doesn't ever make them a quality quality player. Every team needs understudies – in this day and age they cost a lot of money to buy, and a lot of money in wages – which, by their very nature, incur time and effort to minimise the risks involved to the parent club when they have to play.
But only a raging fool would mix their type up with genuine A-listers.

Do Man City have an option of buying him back?

If they do there’s not a chance they’d even consider having him back for a second.

A fast striker with similar attributes to Vards and a better no2 goalkeeper to push Kasper. I think if Vards or Kasper were out for more than a handful of games then we would struggle to maintain the high standards we have set so far this season. Every other player/position we have a more than adequate replacement.

But that's one of the points we can't afford your top top players so we have to invest time in making these players we have top top players. Ian Nacho has shown if he's given a run he can be a very very good player.

I don't know anyone else who has ever called him a very very good player!
The point is that the Club needs to invest their time and money in players who can become A-listers, and not waste either on players who don't have it in them to make those crucial final steps.
For what it's worth, I'd imagine that the available budget next summer will be focussed much more on the attacking third than has been the case since 2016-17. They now know that Nacho will never be Vardy's replacement, I'm sure of that.
