Inverted wingers - answers on a postcard

Can somebody (probably Tartan) please explain this modern thinking in detail. To me yes they can cut inside to shoot but at the same time they cannot take first time shots with their stronger foot when its passed across to them. Is it so wrong to get to the goalline and cross it high or low into the box with your better foot, this used to be the source of many goals and a poachers dream.
Why also are Barnes and Tete not asked to swap when the inverted style isnt working?

Why Tartan pray? He wasn’t impressed with Mahrez in his early days. Best winger (inverted or otherwise) I’ve ever seen play for us.

Not as good as Lenny
I beg to disagree my friend with the unfeasibly large anal orifice. Glover may have been God but Mahrez more than shades the comparison for me. I'm right and you're wrong of course. Opinions? Behave!

Football ability apart Mahrez can only look on in awe at the charm wit and entertainment value of the incomparable Leonard G. One of the most amusing people I’ve ever shared a ferret in a basket with. I can truly say spending an evening in the company of Lenny and Mr Worthington was the funniest night of my life.
I’m afraid my opinion of the snivelling one will always be clouded by his behaviour during his last moments here

Can't believe you've left the legendary Max Gradel out of this discussion.

Something to do with this trans thing I keep hearing about?
Seriously, Tete stayed on his right foot all through the first half, never cut to his allegedly stronger left..
Up to now, if he is the solution what was the question?

Exactly what we were calling for during the game yesterday. Then the answer became obvious, as Praet put a couple of decent crosses in. There's little point as we have no one in an around the six yard box to attack any such cross. In fact we just have nothing up front at all.
