I love Kelechi

With more match practice he has the attributes to contribute goals and assists to a very high level I reckon. He can 'see' a pass, make good runs into space, link midfield and attack and score goals with headers and both feet. Imagine how much more he can add to the team with more than 3 games in a row. he seems pretty popular among his teammates too.

What I love about him is he looks like he hasn’t a clue what to do with the ball. The beauty of that is nor has the other team. He has a wand of a left foot too as shown with his goal. He scored a bundle 2 years ago. Keep him in now and let’s hope he continues with this rich vein of assists and goals

When he turns it on he's quite something! Great with his left foot, insightful passing and so on!

His only issue is consistency I reckon. I remember a lot of performances and reviews afterwards over the last few years that weren't quite as glowing as they are now. And I also remember the fantastic cup run he had two seasons ago.

I hope Rodgers leaves him in the side. As it is, he's great!

was saying that yesterday, no one even him knows what strange thing he’ll do rather than use is right foot, it works a treat 😀

It's also worth mentioning that he nearly provided another brilliant assist for Barnes' goal which got (unjustifiably IMO) chalked off. He left one defender on his bottom with a little change of direction and then played a perfectly weighted pass for Barnes to score.

(And I've just noticed Ndidi won the ball prior to that which is also good to see)

he made the balance of the team work l recon. I personally think hes crap, but an awkward player in a good team as LG says confuses everyone to our advantage.

Having assumed, with some encouragement by the club, that Daka was being groomed as JV's replacement,
it seems we have had one all along...
The other bonus is that having had a glimpse of a side minus YT it did not show...

We wanted a Jamie type player which we thought Daka was or would be. Nacho isn’t quite that kind of player but we’re now playing to his strengths. All we needed was the personnel to do so.

Another opportunity missed.

Considering he has now been with us for quite a while, I commend him for not being a pain for his lack of game time. Many a player would of thrown massive hissy fits by now, and probably gone public with grievances about how they have been treated by their club.
Nacho may not be a world beater, but at least he doesn't appear to be a bad apple in the squad.

That set up (two wingers, and a midfield, that will come past him) better suits his talents. Lone striker, he's not. A forward 10 or a false 9.... or some other such wank expression. On his day, in that set up, he's magic you know.

Only trouble is there seems to be two of him, this one that looks quality and the other one with a first touch so bad his second touch is a tackle, let’s keep everything crossed that it’s this one that keeps turning up - although I’m not sure it will be

Let's hope he keeps turning up on the team sheet and not inexplicably dropped.

Said to my lads football coach yesterday morning when discussing the match.

He looked like he was walking with the ball as Dier was spinning in circles, then the sheer nonchalance as he passed it with that curl into the net, it was beautiful to witness.

I said to my mate that if that was Kane then that’s goal of the month. It was brilliant. It hit the side of the net just inches from Forsters fingers. Amazing
