i know he had his hand forced with barnes and maddison not available but:

daka rubbish
tete rubbish
soumare rubbish
teilemans did his invisible man impersonation again rubbish
kdh worse than rubbish

and yet we still managed to win.

vardy should not start another game, neither should soumare.

if that formation is what he wants then you put mendy in for soumare, and nacho up top with praet as an attacking mid and hope teilemans shows up or maddison is fit. i think thomas would've been better on the left instead of the atrocious daka.

i've got players in my over 50 sunday team who can trap and pass a ball better than kdh.


oh, and soyuncu was motm, so fuck you rodgers for sidelining him for so long.

i watched the game. we made a few chances, took two, missed some. We didn't give them many chances.
Would've been a totally different outcome if their goalie hadn't gifted us a pen, we were on the ropes and ready to throw in the towel.
That pen might have saved our season, i'll reserve judgement until after the Leeds game.

He looked better after Teilemans went off.
Maybe he's better going forward than he is as a wilf clone and he's been played in the wrong position?
He still only had one good strong run in 90 mins.
Mendy is streets ahead of him as a def mid.
we need much better performances from him to convince me.

'vardy should not start another game,' - it was classic, classic Vards that got us the pen that changed the game for us.

Soumare had a great game ok best he’s played for us but that a fact

You’ve answered your own question TNT .
He’s not a defensive midfielder, he’s a box to I’ve box player, that’s how he played for Lille when they won the French League.
BR wanted him to pass the ball ( preferably backwards) when his natural instinct is to play forward.
He was the driving force yesterday, highlighted by his superb ball to KDH that resulted in the winning goal.
He won’t score many goals, but then neither did the Kante twins.

I thought we started well then they dominated. We couldn't get the ball off them, then the penalty changed the momentum. We were the better team in the 2nd half.

Kristiansen, but yes he was good going forward.
 
So many changes needed at the end of this season it's untrue. We are a bottom 3 side, that's currently 4th from the bottom.. Hope it somehow continues...

Amazing how the shit Rodgers has even managed to make some of our own fans believe that we are really this poor a team.
Our squad is never in a million years worse than Everton’s/ forests/Bournemouth/ wolves/Leeds/villa/ West Ham to name a few.

It bloody well is, once you get past the starting XI. It's an awful squad for the EPL.

Hopefully we will be able to rip it apart and rebuild something far better in the summer.

Glancing down the current PL squad of 25, we could easily be saying goodbye to at least 12, possibly more. That will be the case irrespective of what division we're in. Replacing half a squad in one summer is a massive undertaking. I really hope we've got our targets lined up so we can start signing them on the day the window opens.

Indeed a massive undertaking, and at this moment in time and given what has happened so far this season I'm not fully confident all (or any?) targets have been identified and lined up yet!

I'm not a particular friend of massive squad overhauls and prefer evolution over revolution but I suppose there's not a lot we can do as that horse has already bolted!

Yes it has. No club finds itself in the position of having to replace half a squad in one summer unless something has gone badly wrong. As Tartan says, though, Congerton has left the building, and of course Rodgers now has too. Hopefully the work to begin clearing up the mess is already underway.
