It seems we need a point to guarantee being one of the top seeds in the tournament next summer (thereby theoretically getting an easier draw). We've already won the qualifying group, as you say. Even if we don't get a point tonight it's apparently still likely we'll be a top seed, but we need a point to make sure of it.
