Just read an article he’s written, saying he thinks we will go up automatically, stay up comfortably.
He bases this on the fact that we were very clever in the summer and ONLY LOST A COUPLE OF PLAYERS.

As I see it, the only positions in which we’re weaker than last season are attacking midfield (Maddison was irreplaceable) and left wing (I like Mavididi but Barnes was better). You could make a case for Soyuncu being in our first 11 this season, but I don’t think our goals conceded column would be much different if he was still around. On the other hand, Hermansen is better than both Ward and Iversen, Winks is an upgrade on Tielemans and Fatawu is the best right winger we’ve had in years. So overall I think we probably have a similar strength (and possibly stronger) first 11 than last year. I think that’s what Holloway was getting it.

15 players from last season’s squad leaving, is not a couple of players.
Even if we think a lot of them weren’t “ key” players, they were all deemed “vital “ to BFR’s plans for last season.
How many other clubs 1st team squads losing 15 players, would describe that as only losing a couple ?
