The missus has family links to The Mumbles so we stayed there when we went to Gower. Great views over Swansea Bay from there too.
Rhossili is nice with a fantastic beach that would be really special if you could guarantee the weather. Check the tide times before visiting as they don’t like you getting to The Worms Head if the tide is on its way in.

I stayed on the Mumbles in the 70's at a B&B run by Len Allchurch the former Welsh International. A lovely bloke and great host full of football chat. The area is superb!
