I am on my way home to Halifax after watching the mighty Shaymen win the FA trophy today at Wembley. Great performance by a team of triers.
I will set off tomorrow to watch our hitherto non triers attempt to get a result v Newcastle, expecting our hopes to have been crushed in the first half hour.
To put things in context, one of the team who put a shift in today is leaving because he was refused a pay increase of, er, fifty pounds a week. Says it all, really.
