Fofana

Going to be a very good player but has been shown to be a bit naive in the last couple of games. Has a tendency to commit himself in the tackle a bit too early. Hopefully they've spotted this and will be working on it in training. I'll do it for them for a few quid if not.

He's looked incredibly rash. Sadly he also looks to have had the passes over a good distance that he put into feet taken out of his game after match 1. Hasn't done one since.

He should've cost us yday....which is crackers with the pace he has to defend a position where the moment happened. If you're making excuses you could say he got caught up in wanting to win the ball back early in a position further up the pitch in an attempt to get the winner - but it was schoolboy really and he got caught doing the same on at least 3 occasions versus Mane. Plus he was out jumped by a midget that Kasper had to put over the bar. A little composure and he'll be good as gold.

We were effectively playing with a back three for last 20mins of game to blame fofana for covering the ground to be in right wing back position is a little harsh. He got done yes but to me he shouldn’t have needed to be there.

But if you are there do your job. He should have either been right up his arse so he couldn't have turned or just shown him down the line. He stood off, gave him room to turn and committed himself so missed the tackle. He will learn, he's got a good head on young shoulders, but at this level it costs you goals.

No Evans and Albrighton were only players to be booked
OK
Then he should have stopped him and took one for the team
Hate it but it's the norm nowadays
He's young and will learn
Might also put off the vultures in the short term

Don't forget he is still in the Silver Medal category... if he was the finished article he would probably be out of our financial league.

Hang on, his cross field pass to Maddison in the build up to the second goal was right on the money

I didn't say he couldn't pass. I'm saying that in his first game and maybe even his second he was firing a ball about an inch off the ground fiercely into the feet of either an advanced midfielder or Vardy/Nacho. Must've done this 5-6 times. Haven't seen it since. Trust me I'm not questioning his technical ability of bravery on the ball in advanced positions.

Cags had his faults when he arrived too but he got sorted and so will Fofana and in 18 months time the vultures will be queuing up.

Birch used to call Sol Bamba 'bomb scare'. I think young Wesley has a touch of bomb scare about him. Undoubtedly talented and at nineteen, technically better than most, I just hope he develops in the right way.
