Fans Behaviour

Just been reading the latest Foxes consultative minutes on Foxestalk
The club are becoming concerned about certain away fans behaviour
Are we talking about
A few fans now singing at away games
At least 10% of fans are under 60
Two fans dare to stand
There has been a shortage of thermos flasks to pass round
Do me a favour
This club needs to get real 😁

None of the above, there is a growing problem which is being discussed by the Premier League and the Football Supporters Association, which includes violence, threating behaviour to fellow (LCFC) fans in the concourses, drug taking and increased occasions where fans with banning orders are getting into away games, hence the measures the club have introduced on checking away tickets.

the peoples game is getting taken away.. it’s been happening for a long time slowly but surely but we’re nearly there now

I go every away every week and I have done for years.
There has been no recent outbreaks of vandalism or hooliganism.
Apart from a few Rodgers in/ out arguments the club are trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist.
Has for the Rodgers quarrels, that always happens when results are poor and fans are divided.
I wish we would give him some of the Martin O Neil treament
There isn't a problem at aways that warrants the current thinking by the club.
If there is a clamour for lower priority points to have access to tickets , why isn't Man City or Leeds sold out?
There are hundreds left for both games.
It's the clubs stance on ticket sales that prevent City fans from buying tickets.
The club isn't for the 23 000 season ticket holders club or the 5000 members.
It is the club of the population of the whole of Leicester and Leicestershire.
If 1 person who isn't a season ticket holder or member wants to go to an away game they should be able to. It doesn't mean they aint a fan if they don't have a season ticket or membership.
The club needs a hucking big shake up.

As someone who has whinged about the non availability of away tickets to STHs without enough points I offer some comments.

The point about Man City and Leeds is of course accurate. I am going to Leeds. I am not going to Man City. This is self fulfilling. I could not get a MC ticket last season, even though I wanted to go,, and assuming I would not get one this year made other arrangements.it's clear from the letter from the club telling me I had a ticket that (rightly or wrongly) they are targeting fans at away matches who are not the STH. Plus generally making it difficult e.g late posting of tickets "we got them late..."

Reading stuff on here it is obvious that there is not unanimity of views on this, nor should there be. But the problem I have outlined could be addressed by the Club making a percentage of the away tickets available to STHs without enough points in the same way as they do for Members (2%)?

And it pisses me off at away games when I am near the front and folk stand in front of me. This happened at Chesterfield yesterday when I was watching the mighty Shaymen FFS.

How many members do the Foxes Trust have ?
They don’t speak for me and I guess many others
I don’t go to away games but see many opposing fans come to the Kingpower
stand up and vocally get behind their side
Why does the club not insist and put stewards into that corner of the ground to enforce it
What is all this threatening behaviour to fellow Leicester fans at away ground ?
It appears to me that the club wants theatre goers rather than football fans 😁

This is absolutely spot on The club is moving away from the core support and not giving opportunities to younger fans It will regret it going forward Organisations like the Foxes Trust represent a handful of the supporters and are meaningless 😁

Hide, I’m sure the Foxes Trust represent a cross section of our supporters. They can only represent those who contribute to their meetings and send information to them. Some of these people may or may not post on here and have similar views to most who post on this forum.

Looking at the replies on Twitter and on here regarding the “singing section” so many of us have similar views on many aspects of our club and have answered similar in their surveys.

Do they represent a cross section of our support ? Do they have any members from UFS ? How many members do they have , why don’t they publish it ? How may fans from L Block get consulted I assume it is the same old guard
from years ago They are basically faceless , lacking in diversity of the fan base in age and are basically meaningless to me and I think many others 😁

you're taking all the fun out of football !

Go Foxes !

Why are they all trying treat everyone like children? and what right do these Nazi's think they have to tell others what to do.

The Foxes Trust admit their average age is 50 plus
Guys you have had your fun at matches like a lot of the posters on here have
Don’t try and deny the younger element of the support their opportunity to
support the club in ways maybe different to you.
Move on 😁

From reading the article, it wasn’t just a meeting with Foxes Trust, although they were represented. The young lass Becky Taylor who had the Rodgers Out banner at Brentford and is pretty vocal on Twitter was also at the meeting. Who knows if there was representation from UFS. If not I’d suggest they should have put somebody forwards.

Actually I went to the National Theatre recently and it was lovely. Nobody nicked my half time drink, nobody jostled me and I didn’t see any bother between the punters

The lack of action by the club on sorting out safe standing at the Kingpower tells you
everything you need to know
They want a nice family atmosphere with polite applause and no raucous behaviour
A lot of clubs in the Premier League sorted out standing areas long ago
Why do they not seemingly enforce non standing in the away end
Why is there no tickets made available on General sale ?
The whole matchday experience is being sanitised , it is not the way forward 😁

This whole Away fan thing - whether in the minutes of the meeting with the supporter representatives or in the various LCFC news stories & associated emails - is just a mess of different issues - real or imagined, large or small - conflated together resulting in a similar mess of responses. Unless & until they clearly define each issue as they see it, determine how big an issue each is and respond in a clear, fair & proportionate manner to each individually it will continue to be a mess and increase wider supporter frustration outsides of the confines of the Fans Consultative Committee.

Union FS were represented at the FCC meeting, as were the Official Supporters Club, Foxes Pride, DSA and ourselves

Even Union FS have acknowledged that its logical to introduce safe standing when the stadium expansion takes place. our understanding is that it will be introduced at that time, but under PL/SAG rules that has to include a % in the away section too.

The club are happy to sell tickets to anyone they already have on their database, so anyone who has bought a ticket in the last few years.

We would welcome e-mails to expand on this topic, we are concerned that some of our members and other fans who have been going to away games for many years are expressing views about stopping going due to the attitude of fellow LCFC fans, we have heard of cases of registered disabled fans being abused/told to stand up, when they have politely asked for fellow fans to sit down in rows which are designated as seated only parts of safe standing sections

The last part there is not strictly as it is though is it. There is an absolute last resort measure to drop the paywall stance and open up to general sale. So much so we are having games not selling out because they are stopping sales at certain points and thus stopping a section of fans not be able to attend.

"Foxes pride". ffs thats representative isn't it !

Sums all you entitled twats right up !!!

None of you speak for the real fans you bunch of dick heads.

Please answer these questions
How many members do the Foxes Trust have?
Who heads up the Trust ?
Who puts him or her in that position ?
How often is the position changed ?
Who do you think you represent ?
What have you achieved ?
