Ex elite coach

….the last 15 minutes also saw some proper ‘up and under’ clearances to hoof it out.
Good to see the tippy tappy binned for once. Far less stressful

Would our ex elite coach have put Souttar on last night when we were under the cosh with long throw inside and 6 or 7 giants in the penalty area.?
Given that Souttar was his signing and a starter under Rodgers, I doubt he’d have been on the bench.

That said I get what you’re on about.

But did he play him that much when he had the chance. Amarty wasn’t it and Evans when “fit”. Froze out Cags and didn’t give vestergaard a chance. For whatever was said about the latter that was Rodgers wrongdoing and who knows might have saved the point or 2 that we needed

Vestergaard was a disaster in Rogers team because he couldn't use his strengths in that system and it highlighted his weaknesses which were exploited by the opposition. However Rogers viewed the system as right and the players unusable. Management skills?

If Vesty wasn't right for TCR's system why on earth did he sign him? Or was it a cut to his son?

From the beginning of last season it was obvious he wanted out, but he wanted his pay off. Hence ridiculous team selections, tactics, loss of interest on his part that obviously transmitted to the players. Had it have been a normal industry he would have been sacked with a months payoff for not doing the job as he should, but football makes very rich men out of complete failures. He is a complete disgrace to his profession

I didn't think anyone could replace Twatlor as the worst manager we have ever had and maybe TCR hasn't because he did have a couple of good seasons. But he has certainly become the most hated.

Let’s hope they fail this season, that Rangers win the league and it becomes the end of him.

It won’t though, someone else then someone else will take a chance. It’ll be another few years until his career is in tattters.

Not that the multi millionaire will give a shit.

Taylor was just bad.....Rodgers actually went out of his way to make us bad towards the end so he got his payoff.which in my book is unforgivable.
I thought that too, and still do to an extent, but based on his first 6 months at Celtic maybe he's just a busted flush and lost whatever he had.

Once they lose it, they lose it. Like a Poundland mourinho....but whereas Jose is floundering midtable Serie A, he's floundering in the non league.

Rogers is a relative dinosaur these days. The best managers seem to be thinkers about the game who also played at a good level and have new ideas which they know how to get across to players.
