EU Fighter Jets

l just mentally use the words "Deep State". when it says "Ukraine". it makes it easier to understand

The EU promised jets to Ukraine.

Seems that they haven't arrived and won't be arriving

Empty promises
Do you think that’s a good thing, or do you think the Ukrainian air forces should be provided with planes by Poland, Slovakia, or whoever else has the MiG type models?

The EU doesn't have any planes. It doesn't have an army (although they want one despite what we were promised)

They were relying on the nations that you named to provide the jets but the Poles don't have enough to defend their own airspace.

So it was another vacuous promise

UN is the Deep States army. They've tried to build it into a world army for their own aims, this is the side of the Ukraine. Its the last Bastian of the DS is the Ukraine and as it was described, l think the best. The head of the snake is being cut off !

Yes, I understand your view about the commitment that wasn’t, that was obvious from your initial post. I was asking your view about whether other nations (which happen to EU members, although for all I know non-EU members might have suitable equipment) should provide planes to Ukraine.

I think it's a dilemma for those three nations. Handing over those assets - with the potential for them to be destroyed - will leave them very exposed. They will have no chance of replacing them quickly so in essence they are leaving themselves exposed. If they are in turn attacked then NATO will step in but as most Countries have under funded their armed forces its ahuge risk. Would you want to rely on the Germans for instance?

The Poles were happy to give them. The Americans had offered to replace them with F16s, The problem was that no-one was prepared to allow them to take off from NATO territory with Ukrainian pilots as it would have been too close to direct involvement. In normal times you could have transported them by road, but that’s too difficult and dangerous now.
