Certainly the first one after the yellow was the easiest card ever. The original yellow was a terrible decision but two wrongs don’t make a right and all that..

The divers have got into referees heads,so they err on the side of caution. Unless the offender cuts the player in half they aren't going to award one especially at home.

KDH dives too often for my liking. It was a penalty but the lad loves a lie down and does it too regularly to be taken seriously.

Regarding the penalty I think Mark Schwarzer called it right - at the moment of impact the refs view was blocked by the other Ipswich defender.

As he said - if that was the case the ref can't simply guess it was a foul.

What he should have done is sought help from the linesman who should have been in line with play.
