I had a great buckin weekend and so did SWMBI
Top class performance, and that was just me with the Guinness, never mind the buckin team
Nice of Soho to pop over and say hello in the San Carlo but his hand remained far away from his wallet sadly
The food there was top notch as was Nandos on Friday night
And normal service shall be resumed in two weeks when I arrive for the Gooners game
On the match itself Maddison and Iheanacho were excellent but least said soonest Mendy was head and shoulders below everyone in size and above them in performance.
Tete didn't do much but had his moments
Overall as 63rd birthdays go I'll never have a better buckin one
 
I've never been to a Nandos so I can't comment but I reckon on balance I'd sooner go to a Foodbank.
Gerry looked like he was enjoying his grub in the San Carlo but my impression was its gone downhill over the last few years.
But nothing whatsoever could detract from the magic of the 4-1 win so I still enjoyed it.

Nandos does decent food.
Especially if you like chicken which I do
San carlo was excellent
 
Nan dos brings back memories of Shippams’ paste sandwich and heavily diluted orange squash, with my grandma going on endlessly about how the garden fires her neighbour kept lighting were covering her washing with black smuts.
