So given the following is purely factual :
Braverman suggested not supporting this government policy is “unpatriotic”
Attacking Lawyers as “ lefty”
Admitting pushing human rights laws “ to the limit “
Describing migrants as “ hordes” and invaders
Exaggerating the numbers ( scaremongering) a billion are going to “come here“

Given you claim to know your history which part of Linekers tweet wasn’t completely factual ?
I humbly suggest a cursory look at Giebbels speeches make it hard to deny
The final solution began in 1941 after a decade of this “ othering “ and gradual erosion of human rights .

Now without personal attacks/ silly emojis or deliberately misreading what he said -,try and argue otherwise .

I have . A bookcase full . It’s what I learnt and has been confined by numerous holocaust survivors in the last few days .
You read the post re Goebels . I’m waiting for you to respond with your different interpretation of his speeches

I have qualifications in both 20th Century History and Politics. In Politics we did an in depth study of the BBC and how politics has shaped it over the years. My final year history project was on the evolution of Fascism (not just Germany). i have many political and philosophical books ranging from Marx to Nietzsche to understand a broad range of views, not just the ones i support. I went to the Imperial War museum's magnificent and moving holocaust exhibition last summer, and learned many new things, but i'm sure a graduate of the university of life will just say I wasn't paying attention and didn't learn much ...

You did a course somewhere

You got some qualifications somewhere

You have books that you may have read when you were doing some course somewhere.

I didn't do a course anywhere but I have books that I have read. I don't have any history qualifications. As you pointed out I am less qualified than you by your measure. Your 'qualifications' count - my opinion doesn't.

I simply asked - what are you doing with all your knowledge - you have chosen to go all high and mighly rather than answer the question.

Why dismiss the University of Life ? Maybe the real Universities didn't work out eh?

A BS 'qualification' from a BS 'University' hasnt quite worked out the way you thought

Could have gone in teaching

You could have written a book or two (but didnt)

Could have done a podcast ( some of the best history podcasts are done by amateurs)

But you probably didn't and are very unhappy- if only the evil Tories weren't in power you would have found the job that you deserve.

Anyway - thanks for starting to contribute to the Roof - just don't waste your time any longer with me.
