I assume everyone noticed on MOTD when he was asked about being here next season he replied "Now's not the time, I will have to go away and think about that".
 
Maybe I'm a bit naive but I do feel a bit sorry for him. He seems a decent person but also out of his depth, given how much has gone wrong before he came in.

Then again, I haven't seen much that convinces me he can turn things round and facilitate a quick return.

So my answer is still No.

Well done Pope on his research and having it all written on his water bottle. And well done Maddison for doing what you’ve often done before.
