If Bertrand was meant to be left back someone should have told him, he was that much out of position most of the time he needed a Sat Nav for direction and also someone should have told buckin Barnes he has to tackle people not back out of challenges
Maddison missed a buckin sitter, likewise Vardy albeit heading the ball is not his strong point
And worse Legia missed a buckin penalty
The bottom line is the players shit on Buck whether deliberately or not time will tell

Just about sums it up. Except you forgot Vardy's missed penalty when we were 1-0 up at home to the Ruskies.
 
We haven't qualified cause we haven't been good enough, Brendan is the manager until Top tells him otherwise, we are in European Conference and move on, still better than playing Crewe or Hartlepool 12 yrs ago. January transfer window round the corner perhaps we can make some changes and Justin and Fofana back hopefully.
 
The dressing room is all over the place. We saw that tonight and for weeks now.

The team has no structure, no cohesiveness, and they’re mentally and physically knackered because he’s playing the same players.
Evans looked knackered after 10 mins.

All the players we normally can count on have been 5/10 this season. When you add the injuries, bad signings, the amount of games and lack of confidence it’s been crap since day 1. Not ONE game IMO have we played with any authority. How we’ve got 19 points, nearly won our EL group and in the last 8 of the LC I find mind boggling.
Watching us at the moment is totally draining. I didn’t even celebrate our equaliser as I knew it would end badly. I actually laughed when Legia missed their pen. It’s like some bastard out there has decided to torment us for our recent success. I’m literally empty of emotion. I’m not even angry and that worries me

Dean Smith had an impressive record at Villa. Lost 5 on the bounce and gone.

We’ve been poor for months not a few weeks. Something has to change. Yes his first 2.5 seasons were magnificent but this season? It happens. Mourinho did it at Chelsea. Loads of others. It’s time to change before we get into serious trouble .

Yeah but Brendan had two top 5 finishes and won FA Cup and Community Shield, all Smith did was keep Villa up and got to League cup final at our expense.

It was the hardest fixture on paper from the day it was drawn all the way upto when Napoli’s side was announced tonight. Then it became very very winnable for a competent, well organised side.

Which if we had been more clinical we would've beaten them. You can't just the misses we made tonight.
 
Managerially what I didn't like from Brendan was his refusal to see things were not working Teilemans looked flat after 20 mins, Vardy was a headless chicken, Bertrand a liability, Castagne wasn't beating there left back all night
And he should have changed things a helluva lot earlier, brought on Daka Albrighton subbed Bertrand quicker if Thomas was there

Well it's certainly not boring watching us at the moment. Goals scored and conceded. It's a bit like watching a basketball game with us at the moment lol

Crewe was my favourite away match that season, great pies , big win. Good day out.
 
The group was lost in Warsaw. BR picked a joke team as he thought it would be a stroll in the park & he was totally wrong. Failure to qualify is at his door

I notice Vardy is back for set pieces as he appears to be our best header even the own Goal 😀

It doesn’t matter. The modern game is all about the here and now. There is no sentiment and all football managers know this.

Ultimately it’s a tough call but if we lose tomorrow I can’t see how Top can do anything but sack him.
