Considered buckin opinion

Or that you're just an overdramatic queen..
Maybe. But in that case, those worried about pooping themselves must also be.
Not everyone is blessed with the levels of love peace and tranquility that you demonstrate in your posts.
(We're talking about LCFC, with countless evidence over many decades of us shooting ourselves in the foot when it's far easier to miss.)

From the games

From Dec-Feb games: Ipswich twice, Birmingham, Watford, Millwall (league and cup), Sheff Wed (away) and even Huddersfield for a short spell when they got their first goal before the fourth. Swansea was not put to bed as quickly as it could have been. Kov excluded but earlier subs could have helped earn a point at least.

When the ball is moved with purpose, they are brilliant - first half last night was the best of the season for this and was a joy to watch. When we start to "manage" the game, the precision in the game is lost and errors start. Most teams in the division are not capable of taking advantage but I cannot get over the anxiety of thinking what if every time we concede a corner (and we conceded a lot second half yesterday) or gift the ball away.
Scratching around to prove a point that has no merit -

We're levels ahead of any team in this league. Southampton have been on a 22 game unbeaten run and are still 14 points behind us. Get a grip man and enjoy the beautiful intelligent football.

Precisely.
The fact that our 'possession game' goes to ratshit in those circumstances also doesn't help, along with the peculiar habit of not always playing that way when the game's circumstances are crying out for it.
You only learn something by repetition,
Keep playing it out from the back and lots of possession becomes a muscle memory if done enough. We’re much better at it now than we were earlier in the season.

Jesus H Hackney they have had enough time to hone this skill but still can't get it right ......movement still not that good and their passing just about the same, like l have said movement and passing accuracy is vital

Isn’t it a prerequisite of a professional footballer to be able to kick the ball to your team mates?

With the exception of 2015/16 have we ever
Lost fewer games?
Scored more goals?
Conceded fewer goals?
Been so comfortably better than all the opppsition?

Have we ever made so many passes in games?
Have we ever scored goals after 50 passes?

Spot on. So in the 102 point season in 2013/4 after 32 games we had 71 points. That included a 9 game winning run. We are now 78!!
Goals for and against. 2014 - 59/32 = 27 GD
Now. 68/24 = 44 GD

Put simply we are miles ahead of where we were in 2014. There were no complaints then.

Do we give a fuck how may passes it takes to score?

Have people ever left early in such numbers?

The problem of these early leavers is IMO most matches are done and dusted by 85 mins. It’s all too easy. It’s the same as Man City. As a mate of mine said, it’s become like going to the theatre to see a play.
Next season you’ll see the KP in a different mode and mood I reckon. Each goal/win will be cheered from the rafters. It’ll mean so much more. There’s hardly any jeopardy in this division. Each PL game I go to with a lump in my stomach beforehand. Not right now. I go expecting to win and win comfortably. This is what it must be like watching FC Copenhagen in Denmark, Celtic/Rangers in Scotland etc.

Perfect summary. The problem with being streets ahead of virtually every other team in the division is that there is very little tension. If you go into almost every game expecting to win, winning is neither a surprise nor a thrill. In fact, the only surprise you're likely to get is a negative one - ie, failing to win a game you expected to win. Only games against the few other decent teams in the division - Leeds, Southampton, Ipswich and possibly WBA - offer any real sense of jeopardy.

Next season will be completely different. Even a win against a team near the bottom will be thrilling because every win in the PL is cherished. I doubt many people will be leaving early then.

Many more are leaving early presumably because they find reduced risk game management for vast swathes of the second half tedious in the extreme. The final move of the game for instance saw us sweep forward at pace with an extra man before stopping for a bout of sideways passing culminating with Mavididi reverse showboating as the final whistle blew.

The nervousness for me comes from expecting to win every game and wanting to get 2-0 up as soon as possible to provide the cushion.

I just want out of this league - not so much from a pure football sense but the desperate financial need to get the club back on track.

Yes but that was before we won a couple of things and a sense of entitlement started to creep in.
In psychology, they call this an anchoring effect (wiki link).

In 2014, our last PL season was roughly ten years in the past, and in between there were terrible mid-table and relegation-flirting seasons in the Championship (From Adams to Holloway, and from Sousa to Sven) and even one season in League 1.

Now we're looking back on nine seasons in the PL, a PL title and an FA Cup trophy.

In 2014, that season had been our most successful season in ten years. In 2024, despite us literally walking the league and breaking record after record it's still our lowest league position in nearly ten years.

That is probably part of the explanation why the mood is at it is. Add to that #46 and #48.

I do, of course, still remember many years in the doldrums, and I'm very happy with the way this season is shaping up! And I'm looking forward to next season already.

One of the 50 best world cup goals was a 24 pass goal scored by Cambiasso, we are regularly scoring goals having passed the ball well in excess of 24 times.
If you can't see the beauty in that then it's a shame but carry on enjoying non-league hoofing.;)

A 24 pass move is pretty tedious if the first 20 passes are among the defenders!!

One mans hoof is another mans pass into space for a forward to run on to.

You should try watching some real live non league football, you would clearly be surprised.

Have you not simply ignored the fact that it is a distinctly poorer division than in 2014, with a far far greater discrepancy between the parachute wankers and the rest, and far fewer decent players not already hoovered up by PL clubs?

Yes it's terrible. They're uselss and its 100-1 we'll be relegated.

'Fact'

More like opinion I would suggest

But please keep posting it - again and again and again
