Considered buckin opinion

GTIF

Roofer
The team has taken much merited criticism over the last few weeks so it is only fair to point out they ALL put a buckin shift in tonight
Yes we rode our luck but could easily have nicked it
Why deaf huck didn't Deano play the same system at Fulham ?
Anyway the pressure is all on the buckin Toffees now as we will beat the Hammers
I had a ticket but gave it to my mate Mick as the flight times back don't suit
Anyone fancy an optimistic chorus of we are staying up ?
And if we do survive my vote for player of the season is going to the Newcastle United groundsman he made the woodwork just thick enough to help us fair play to the bucker

They all put a shift

If you can't be good, be lucky, and boy were we lucky.

Totally baffled by us in the finish.
The tactics to stay in the game was correct up until mid way through the 2nd half. Then surely gamble and give it a go.
Summed it up in injury time when Iversen hung on to the ball as if a point was a good result.
In the circumstances it's not enough.
Make no mistake Everton will rip into Bournemouth and win comfortably.
We will have a bloody long time to reflect on the ' if only ' scenario.
Done the hard work to give ourselves a chance and then totally forgot that you actually need to get the ball into the opponents half to have any chance of scoring.
Far too little too late.
Disappointing.

Come on, be fair, we did have 1 shot to their 23 ....

Which is kind of the point.

I, and I think brauny, is lamenting that we didn't try to have more shots rather than cede possession every time we got it.

Lucky to have 1 considering how much time we spent in their half.
Why oh why? I accept they couldn't go gung-ho, but so little ambition in trying to keep it in our own hands.
I just can't make a case for Bournemouth at Everton

I can
I can make £4m worth of them

Won't match the £100M + that it will be worth to Everton.
Goodison will be like a bear pit, Bournemouth will fold under the relentless pressure put on them.
Goodison Park has never been a bear pit. Teams including Leicester have turned 'em over on countless occasions on their own turf. Only bear I see there next Sunday is Winnie the fookin Pooh!

BLUE ARMY!

When they need it they will do it.
They always have in the past.
Come back to me on Sunday when the Premier League badge is being removed from the shirt.

Is that what happens when you get relegated? Does an official come onto the pitch after the game with your club’s shirt and rip the Premier League insignia from it? Brutal 😳

I think the game plan last night was spot on. Plenty of teams over the past couple of years have come to us, packed the defence and gone away with all three points.

We we’re lucky, very very lucky, but we worked bloody hard and could have nicked it at the end.

We have one last chance. We have to win. I think it’ll be futile as I think Bournemouth will be limp and lose, but you never know. Pressure does strange things to people.

I'm not even sure we were that lucky neville said after the game they hit the bar and the post twice and had multiple shots on target - well they had 4 on target hardly multiple and I'm pretty sure there was an offside before almeron hit the post so that wouldn't have counted there was a few scrambles at corners mainly down to the ref allowing them to block our keeper and top of all that the best chance and save was at the Newcastle end, and why do people on here think Everton will definitely win Sunday have they all of a sudden become a good side? Looking like calvert lewin will be out too I know it goes against the grain on here but I think we've got every chance as micky Adams used to say 'keep the faith'

And most of it is on Everton. Although they’re obviously in the strongest position because they have the points, psychologically they’re under the most pressure. If we were in their position, I could see some of our players folding under the strain. Let’s see how their players deal with it.

We are celebrating a clean sheet takes me back to the Mclintock days The draw took Leeds out of the equation
but what happens on Sunday is down to Everton
It was Everton at home when we picked up the title and it will be Everton on Sunday to send us down
Not sure if I will turn up along with others but the season has been a disaster and it could be a long haul back

Hopefully Daniel will learn a lot from last night, although he didn't get much help from the officials, where at corners Burns main task is to take the keeper out of the game.
SS pointed out that Newcatle are good at "The Dark Arts"

Correct and buckin right

My head's spinning with the permutations

So Everton have to go for the win, they can't risk being at 0-0 in case we bag a late winner. Only if we go 2-0 down can take it easy?

Let's say we survive this ordeal and stay in this league, so what about next season?

We have no permanent Manager, a lot of our so called gifted players are out the exit door, we have no finances and to some up, we have the same board members that got us here in the first place.

Not looking too good is it.

Let’s not think about that for another week.

I was quite depressed with the situation this morning
Now that I've read this board this morning I'm thinking of doing something really drastic.

I might cancel Sky Sports

You're not doing it right. You need an 😁 at the end, right @Whuru?
