Considered buckin opinion

What I just don’t get, and this isn’t a dig at anyone in particular, is how so many could see this coming from a year out (and some a lot longer than that) but others who otherwise seem to know their football persisted right up until the last couple of games in saying it’s all going to turn out fine.
I’ve thought this was coming 2 years ago, we dont seem to have any plan more worryingly is no fight, nobody seems bothered. He should of gone after the spurs away game the football on display is so boring and predictable. I think we will be out the premier league for a considerable time.

He really should have buried those chances
I understand the point you are making...but when first daka, and the nacho, continually lose the ball (or fail to challenge for the ball) whenever it comes towards them then how on earth do you expect us us to build the play to give them a chance at goal?

Our midfield is so utterly piss poor at influencing the game, with zero ability to pass forward to attacking players, that on the rare time the ball did make it as far as the halfway line it was instantly coming back towards the defence.

Basically an all round shambolic performance.

The scary thing is that our manager hasn’t tried a single thing to change anything accept swapping the odd player here & there.
A example, that goal Bournemouth scored away at arsenal a few weeks back after 8 seconds or so of the kick off tells you that they’d been trying something different in training the week previous.
Week after week, game after game we never ever look any different. Training clearly is just a matter of keeping up fitness & nothing else.

I really don't think it is a coaching issue, rather a management one.
There is enough talent in that squad to be much higher but they lack belief in him and therefore themselves.
A critical comment today was that they fought well after the break. So basically they are a reactive team.
I think BR's reputation is a problem. He thinks there can't be a problem on his watch because of his record.
The players and executive are still beguiled by that his record.
The first thing about fixing a problem is acknowledging it.
He can't do that as he thinks things like that it do not happen to such gifted talents.
Hence he staggers on in denial, still persevering with his approach despite the evidence of its shortcomings.
So the urgent task is to bring in someone who can bring a new, fresh attitude to dispel the gloom.
Who? No idea but it is the owners time to step up and protect their investment, and ours...

Play to their strengths and we might have a chance. Sadly that time has long since passed. Daka was bought to do a job yet he was never integrated into the side because Rodgers persisted with Vardy way too long and now we find that we do not have the ability to play to the strengths of the player that we chose to buy

Nacho canbe frustrating but he is another player that Rodgrs will happily dispense with despite his very strong record.

The list is endless. Rodgers has been found out and we are going down. I expect top top coach on top top money to find a way out. It is clear that it is beyond him

A good manager would either of made a substitution or an obvious tactical change as early as about the 20 minute mark.
Quite clearly whatever the game plan was, it wasn't working. The manager is payed a fortune to manage, but just like the Brentford home game he failed to act to a situation that every man and his dog could see.
His credibility is shot to pieces, I can no longer listen to what he has got to say. Just pure waffling drivel that surely nobody believes any more.

Just to enlarge on my last post....
His (BR)'s self confidece is based on his reputation as a coach, however justified.
But a manager brings more to a collective than technical skills. He nurtures an atmosphere of
togetherness with a blend of the hard, the brave, the fighters, the artists and the leaders.
There is no manual detailing how to do this.
The last man here to do this was Nigel Pearson. And before him, MoN.
Both had a team pulling above their single individual whole. Today we have the opposite. Several proven players are shadows of their selves of two years ago. Simply repeatedly telling eveyone all will be well is a dereliction of responsibility.
You just task the same players with a job some of them are not suited to by nature.

With respect we are much further in the sh*t than whether player A missed a tackle or the 'manager' subbed poorly...
The situation is an overall survival situation. All the match details are just symptoms.
Even worse when you look at the u21’s and u18’s

Buckin dreadful performance
We may have been sold a pup in Souttar
They wanted it more and Iversen saved us from a hiding
Iheancho was buckin useless as were most apart from Faes, the goalie and Ricky
Played like a team that is bucked and even our luck was out
We could well be bucked
I refer the "Navan Hack" to my recent comment on Souttar´s ability to play the offside line.....last kick of the game.
