The point being, if you haven't got pace, you should read the game better.
I'm not denying he has no pace, i'm just saying if you haven't, you need to play the game smarter, because you won't magically acquire pace as you get older. you can however acquire nous and experience.

Agree. If you can read the game you anticipate the through ball and drop off, because if you haven't got the pace to cover you're asking for trouble trying to play offside.

Seeing as Ward saved the penalty which was the only other clear chance I remember them having logic says if the scorer wasn't on the pitch it would have ended 0 0
