Assuming the current EPL status quo remains, one particular scenario that has struck me for a while which is becoming eminently more possible by the day is, if - IF - we win on Saturday, IF - SBU win EL, and IF - Chelsea win the ECL, then the top 4 Clubs in the EPL will have carved up every available trophy in England & Europe between them with each of the four winning at least one of them. Staggering!

Where would THAT put l'il ole Leicester in the grand scheme of things?

Yes, yes, yes. Everyone understands all that and has done since Chelsea won the title for us when we stole the it off Tottenham and took advantage of Manchester City and Arsenal and Liverpool and Manchester United who were all a little bit poorly coz they had a cold and their mums had to keep them off school for a season. We know they went a bit mardy. You would if you were the strutting bully of the class and some little five year old upstart had nicked your ice lolly and you hadn't the strength to chase him and give him a jolly good willie-wooftering, wouldn't you?

The point being that this time it would not be LCFC sneaking in through the back door, while the ruminant remnants Arsenal, Tottenham & Liverpool are being waved goodbye at the front door by their backstabbing bedfellows. The excuse of freak; fluke or luck cannot be used to distraction. It would be heralding a more regular (perhaps permanent) appearance within the midst of exalted company and, should the scenario play out then LCFC would be doing their fair share toward the family upkeep by winning a trophy as well as taking a Champs League place. Well-earned; with a history beginning to take shape around the brand, thus making it more difficult to ignore year on year.
