Who we put out is almost immaterial unless the atmosphere is ratcheted up (look at Notts last night, and Everton in previous seasons). It’s too late for another Tifo, I guess, or free paraffin-soaked scarves. But I heard a whisper yesterday that next Monday, home supporters will arrive to find six foot long clappers on every seat.

I don't think we have to go back to front all the time to get JV buzzing, we need him and Maddison to share a bed (room) at Seagrave and work out a strategy to beat the Toffeemen, just like they did at Leeds.
Perhaps brief Castagne, Thomas and Tielemans to be on JV9 watch.
We may need Soutaar to sort Calvert-Lewin out early doors, if we do hopefully he wont cause us too much bovver.
 
I was seeing Soumare live for the first time on Tuesday. He definitely had some good moments early on and made one tremendous tackle in the first half that I remember, but second half I thought he was poor, gave the ball away and generally seemed to slow us up otherwise.

Gave to ball away on numerous occasions, couple of times miss controlled it, under no pressure, jogs around, not fast in decision making, too slow all round for English football. Ok on the continent where they allow time and space. Definitely not good enough for bottom of the table scrap. Same can be said for Tete, Daka, and at the moment Barnes
 
Instinctively I like praet.

But I am struggling to think of anything positive he's contributed in the last 6 months.

I concede he's not had many opportunities, but when he has come off the bench he's been mostly anonymous recently.
 
Praet has been given no chance by the clown or by this lot in charge, in my opinion we have wasted a very talented technical player who needs game time to show his best. Memdy should play every week , quite simply our most consistent midfield player. Barnes, kdh, ndidi, soumare are fucking rubbish and ot fit to wear the shirt.
