City centre Italian restaurant recommendations

Can anyone recommend one of the above, preferably in or not far from town.
Is San Carlo still any good?
I would go to Oggis again , but as I'm paying it's a bit out of my financial comfort zone.

I am glad my restaurant closed with renovations, and I am not in town. So none of you come to blowing your noses on tablecloth and drapes anymore!
