Thought Nelson played well (one for the near future) and Benkovic looked steady but I agree that Soyuncu & Fofana do look a bit suspect at times, fingers crossed Evans is back soon fit & well as I can’t see Rodgers paying out £25/£30 million on Tarkowski when we are desperate for a right sided winger/attacking midfielder…
Or maybe get rid of a load of the shoite and raise some extra funds…
 
Amarty, not good enough, no youngsters of a good enough standard to step up as yet.
That leaves Benkovic who I still believe will fulfill his potential.
But, yes, another decent CD would be good.

Surely this is where Soho's limited Cahill suggestion above makes so much sense. Not a regular but a great stand -in and has been a hugely impressive footballer and character for all his career, in my humble view.

Really want Benkovic to do well for us, think that Nelson could be a regular in the next couple of years as well… 👍
Agree with a couple of posters with Cahill as he would do a good job for us, think Evans injury is worse than we are led to believe unfortunately…😬
