a two match ban. So if booked on Saturday he’s out vs Leeds. To be fair he’s been on 9 bookings for ages so fingers crossed. I see Winks now has 8 after being booked last night. Silly card for having a go at the ref. All cards are scrapped after 37 games so Winks has 5 more games to avoid 2 more cards or else a two match ban. Can’t afford for him to be out
 
I was aware that Vestergaard was on 9 bookings but Winks on 8 has surprised me.
Let's hope Vestergaard avoids a booking on Saturday.

Games are starting to run out and it's getting closer to the point where we can get over the line, even with mid table form.
W5 D4 L5 = 19pts

78 + 19 = 97pts

Saints would need 34pts from 15 games to deny us with that total and they have some more challenging games to come.
Leeds would need at least 31pts from 14 games.

Can't see them both achieving those figures especially as they have to play against each other in the final game.

Wouldn’t be concerned if Nelson had to be bought in for the Leeds game at all.

If Winks was out for two games I have every faith in Choudary. Plus even with Winks out we still win the league at a canter.
