Best performances of the season 2015 to now?

Saturday for me was head and shoulders the best performance of the season so far. Every dept apart from that cock up between Ward and Castagne!
But what about the best since we came back to the PL. These are my favourites

2014-5. Easy. 5-3 vs Manure

15-16. Haha. Every bloody one of them in theory. But 3-1 at the Etihad stands out.

16-17. 4-2 vs Man City. 3 days before we’d been smashed at Porto we went into a 4-0 lead. A fantastic performance cemented by a Vardy hat trick. But the standout performance that season was the 2-0 win over Sevilla

17-18. Ummm. Not really a standout performance throughout. Liverpool 2-0 win in the LC. It was that bad.

18-19. Beating Chelsea away and then Man City in consecutive matches were great performances. But the standout has to be winning at Cardiff after Vichai’s death. What a privilege to be there.

19/20. Simple. 9-0. That’s it.

20/21. Again simple. 5-2 at the Etihad. Unbelievable. Although winning the Final was in a way a ‘better’ performance

21/22. Liverpool 1-0. Expected to get totally thumped.


What are your standouts since we got back in the PL?

What are your standouts since we got back in the PL?

Disagree about last year's Liverpool game being the best performance. Best result for sure but as a performance it was a bit of a gruesome watch. Much preferred the performance against Man Utd at home which I thought was the most coherent of the season (has Maguire recovered from it yet!?). And yes I recognise the difference in class between the opponents in those 2 games. Thought/hoped at the time that we'd turned a corner but following the win at Brentford our return to the KP was yet another abject surrender to a "big name" so file under false dawn.
