Man City 2-1 Ricardo - I remember a 1-0 defeat by Brighton in 1980 as being particularly depressing.

I have a vague recollection of a Boxing Day game in the sixties played in the snow at Filbert St. It was against Fulham, we won 5 nil and the Doog scored at least once.
It would be nice to win 5 nil today.
But how many times have we gone into Boxing Day having won 90% of our league fixtures?

So that was one of my earliest games. 1965. It wasn’t snow but a very thick frost I think.

Liverpool 1 Leicester 2.
Up at 3 in the morning to help our driver do his milk round.
Leicester 2-0 up, Liverpool with a 2nd half penalty and then about 30 minutes of the Alamo with the reds attacking the old Kop end.
Ian Andrews with a few World class saves to keep out a very good Liverpool team at that time.
Brilliant feeling coming home.

Only been to two Boxing Day games at home and two away.
Beat Brighton 2-1 in 1991, Steve Thompson scored a last minute winner, other one was 2002, lost 1-2 at home to Ipswich.
Arsenal away 2000 lost 6-1, Ipswich away 2001 lost 2-0, worst game I’ve ever seen Leicester play in all my years supporting the club.
Don’t have a particularly good feeling about tonight.

Not strictly boxing day as it was on the 27th for some reason but best was v Watford 4-4 in 1993.
I'm not sure why, but i seem to remember being in what was usually the away section on the far left of the pop side near the kop (unless that was another watford game).

Remarkable game that was. I actually thought it was Boxing Day but evidently not. Basketball game it felt like. Remember Lineker being on the pitch pre game with whoever was the host in them days (was it Birchenall or that too early for him?)
