I doubt he will be able to resume his football career, should be proud what he achieved in his career earned enough to be comfortable, football not worth losing your life for, there's always working for your coaching badges if he wants to stay in football.

How the heck was something like that never picked up before? With all the modern science thrown at these guys these days, that’s really odd.
 
Article in today’s paper from the consultant cardiologist who looked after him at Spurs. Apparently he had every high tech test and scan available and showed no defects at all. He suspects that any problem must have developed after leaving for Milan and that maybe a mild COVID infection could have scarred his heart. Interesting.
 
I think you can do as many tests as you like and it won't show anything, excess exercise, heat, all put stresses on the your heart and cause heart attacks.
