Tax on a pint of beer is about 10% so at £4 maybe 40p. Here in London maybe 60p at £6 a pint.

If the government reduce the tax by 10% that’s effectively a drop of 4p or 6p a pint.

Nothing will change, the pubs will just keep the difference. Fair play to them too it might stop more pubs closing,
