I was in a minority at Filbert St back in those days. I actually backed the "Gang of Four". I bought into Pierpoint`s vision of a 40,000 capacity stadium over the water in the woodyard. He saw a gap in the market and wanted to exploit it to City`s advantage.
I couldn`t give a toss if O`Neill left for Everton or Celtic, that was always going to be his choice. Still got the "Don`t go Martin" poster but never did I hold it up at Filbert St. It`s in a folder next to the "Bloomfield Out" offering.
