Lots of people do. Not my sort of thing as I don’t want to fuck about with my blood pressure. Was watching a YouTuber travelling around Asia and he gave it a go. I’d never heard of it but I gather it’s all the rage in Asian countries and quite legal (in the UK too) then according to google it gives you rabies scabies cancer of the throat tongue mouth cock makes you infertile and gives you every other ailment under the sun so I’m thinking it must be good stuff if they’re trying to discourage you from trying it.
