Yesterday Man City were
one down to a bloody good goal, now that would have knocked the stuffing out of us, but not them even world class players got down to the nitty gritty and worked back into the game, admittedly it took two great goals to get back but .....we would have crumbled

I said to the wife yesterday when Man City were 0-1 down at HT, all Pep needed to say was carry on and the goals will come.
Meanwhile, when we were 0-1 down on Saturday we needed major surgery with different players and tactics.

While we are not Man City by any stretch of the imagination, notice how they do their passing about in the oppo's half and around the penalty area, not on the edge of their own area. their first thought is lets get the ball in the oppo's half and get players forward in support as fast as we possible can. No tippy tappy in the middle of their own half from them.

I know we are as far apart as I.O.W is to the Shetlands is...... but the plain facts is we are a poor mans imitation of a style of play thatis common place in the Prem if we continue to use this style we need more impetus and certainly more ingenuity.
