I gave him the benefit of the doubt for not giving the penalty because it was tight and in real-time whether it was inside or outside the area, but to wave away a stone wall foul and free-kick was inept, to say the least.

I thought he was very poor, and only VAR saved him from another very bad decision.
 
Poor Ref, missed a lot of fouls and also let Ayling off with a blatant dive, best Ref we have had recently was the young Lady the other night V Athens, no nonsense and let the game flow, hardly noticed her...
 
Although the commentary praised his excellent performance. Also heard a Leicester fan call in Talksport to say the same. Crazy - he was awful. There were some obvious fouls throughout the game he didn’t give.
