When we started the season well we had McAteer . He’s nowhere to be seen anymore . Cannon looked decent and he’s off the radar

To be fair McAteer has been injured... and frankly despite a few promising start has looked very poor when he's returned.

I like Maresca and the underlying style (generally), but find the lack of willingness to use Cannon a complete mystery (and before Melton jumps in with his usual bollocks, I realise he has had injuries, including now apparently).

the reason l believe we didn't play Cannon is we are desperate to con someone into taking Daka off our hands. When we started making him first choice we were pissing the league so we thought we could weaken our side a bit to get some stats on the board for Daka. This is the point that we turned to shit.
We need him off our books especially now with the FFP bollocks.

We gambled and lost !
