Anyone else wondering how we gonna carry on our form in january without Ndidi, Iheanacho, Daka and Fatawu?....... Especially Fatawu.

Iheanacho will be missed?
I think we’ll be ok, all our players seem capable of scoring, so hoping for 5 different names on the board when we play the diagonals.
 
We’ve Millwall in the cup then just two league games before the 4th round, assuming we progress otherwise we have a league game at the end of Jan.

We’ve two tricky games though in Cov away and Ipswich at home.

By then some of our African contingent will be home.

In fact there are no midweek games now until mid February.
 
I personally don’t think it’s that bad. I’m assuming Praet will take over from Wilf. Or hopefully Doyle will be fit and JJ can move to RB and Ricardo can be pushed forward. As long as Jamie is fit we’ll still qhave two main strikers to use plus Casedei can in theory play up front. We’ve plenty of cover for Souttar. Also hopefully McAteer and Yunas will be fit and take Abdul’s place. So not IMO a disaster.
 
I do like the positivity of most people thinking this won’t affect us but I am worried. Could be up to 7 league games without those players. Even with our squad that is big. The players don’t just rock up to the tournament the day before or come back ready to play straight away. If you remember previous ones you’ll know. Hopefully we’ll have enough of a buffer. We can’t be relying on vardy and a not totally fit cannon to be our only striking options.
 
When it's the usual international break, there are no games in the Prem or Championship. Also you see a number of games postponed in League 1 & even some in League 2, because I think you can do this if you have more than 2 players selected.
So why does this not apply when the African nations cup & Asian cup are being played. These are more important competitions than tinpot friendlys like Andorra v Gibraltar & are surely ratified by FIFA

Because if it did the Premier league would stop for 3 weeks and Sky etc wouldn’t like that !
 
True but it doesnt seem right that we have to lose 5 players without at least having the option to postpone games.
So straight away that's our 25 man squad down to 20, we'll be in a right mess if we get a few injuries or an illness bug going through Seagrave
